Earmen Angel Introduction
Earmen is introducing a new reference portable device with tremendous power, high resolution fully balanced DAC and a pre-amp out. The Earmen Angel will be your powerful device to listen to high-resolution music on the go. The new Angel is equipped with a 2-cell battery, so you do not have to worry about power consumption. This stunning blue device is made with a very durable housing and is designed by Filip Tot and caries his signature. Filip has been with Auris and Earmen already more than 4 years and is the lead designer next to Miki Trosic.
Earmen Angel Specifications
Under the blue bonnet of this Angel an ESS DAC ES9038Q2M is found that has an incredible signal-to-noise ratio and total harmonic distortion statistics compared to other DAC siblings, with a dynamic range of 120 dB. The newest XMOS USB receiver is placed which is capable of decoding up to 768kHz/32 bit PCM, DSD256 via DoP and MQA Studio. A fully balanced construction from the DAC all the way up to the amplification section towards the balanced 4.4mm headphone output, only gain is added in the amplifier to keep the audio as pure as possible.
The Earmen Angel features a balanced 4.4mm headphone output next to a single-ended 3.5mm output. At the back of the device a USB-C audio input next to the SP/DIF coax and toslink digital input is found. This portable device also features a pre-amp output with 3.5mm single ended or 4.4mm fully balanced option, with a switch on the front panel.

Powerful Battery and Gain+
The new Gain+ mode on the Angel will give you more power, volume and dynamic in the sound. This option also will give the user the possibility to adjust to a more precise level allowing Angel to be used with all types of headphones regardless of sensitivity.
A two-cell battery with 2x3000mAh will you give the user plenty of hours to listen to your favorite music. The charging time is less than 3 hours and a seperate Data and USB charging port allows you to continue listen while charging without compromising the quality of sound.
