While Rockna Electronics is set to pursue elite levels of performance with no compromise, the mission of Audiobyte is to close the gap between computer and high-end audio. They specialize in DAC’s and headphone amplifiers, built and developed from the ground up, taking a lot of technologies and insights from the high-end division of Rockna. Audiobyte’s Hydra Vox is an outstanding DAC and headphone amp, that can be taken to higher levels by expanding it to the Hydra stack.

In the Audiobyte line-up they implemented features that have been reserved, until now, only for the most extravagant audio hardware. Each piece they ship is made to order, hand built and individually tested. In 2019 they moved to a new research and production facility that expands their manufacturing capabilities and enhances control over the most minute details.
