Feliks Audio has completely revolutionized the Euforia and Euforia Anniversary to the next level with the new Euforia EVO, which will replace both models. This new OTL tube amplifier has received many improvements, which we will look into more closely. On the inside the team has enhanced connectivity and better signal separation with addition of a 4-pins XLR headphone output, next to the 6.35mm headphone output. Also the custom made internal wiring has been updated to UPOCC (single crystal copper), for a dynamic, detailed yet smooth listening experience. Some of the internals has been broadly carried over from the Anniversary edition.
The exterior has been updated as well with a beautiful space grey satin finish. The volume wheel has been redesigned and operates very smoothly. Feliks Audio employs a matched pair of PsVane CV-181 Mk2 “Gold” as driver tubes and a matched pair of power tubes 6N13S (NOS). Looking at the technical specifications, the EVO has a power output of 280 mW with optimal headphone impedance of 32-600 ohm, so planar headphones can be driven easily too.
